CINENOVA
CINENOVA, the first and only interuniversity Film Festival in Portugal is an initiative of NOVA FCSH and has as it's main focus the relation between Cinema and Knowledge. Organized by students and university professors. CINENOVA is directed towards all university students of any level of studies. The 4th edition of the Festival will be held between the 22nd and the 26th of November of 2022.
2022 EDITION
In 2022 we set the goal to continue the sequence "Lights, Camera, Action". Making the camera our main inspiration we put in perspective the multiple lenses that compose the CINENOVA experience. We received 1466 short films of student-directors from about 100 different countries. The 4th edition will be marked by the exhibition of more than 40 films. A set of different parallel activities which try to stimulate knowledge and the general interest in cinema like debates, and get-togethers
The 4th edition of the Festival will take place between the 22nd and 26th of November 2022.
MISSION
To reinvent the co-relation between cinema and knowledge, between student-directors and the Universities.

The submissions of short films to the competition for the 4th edition of CINENOVA closed on August 15, 2022.
