Luís Mendonça
Holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA FCSH) and has a master's degree in the same area from the same faculty, in the specialty of Cinema and Television.
He teaches courses in the field of cinema and photography at NOVA FCSH and at the Portuguese Institute of Photography. He has written books, articles and organized or participated in numerous seminars on cinema, photography and philosophy of the image. He has organized film cycles, namely as a programmer at Cinemateca Portuguesa — Museu do Cinema. He also directed videos and audiovisual essays.

Inês Gil
Inês Gil is a Professor at Universidade Lusófona where she has been teaching cinema since 2000. There she is also the coordinator of the Masters in Cinematographic and Audiovisual Heritage. She worked at the UCLA Film Archive on the restoration of outtakes from The Night of the Hunter (Charles Laughton-1955) and was coordinator of the Lisbon Photography Archive at the CPF. She did her PhD on Atmosphere in Cinema and has two Post-Doctorates: Cinematographic Patina and Time in Contemporary Cinema. She is a director of documentaries and video art installations and regularly participates in international film festival juries.

Elena Calvo
Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, she completed a Master's in Creative Documentary, Experimental Cinema and Video Creation at Escuela Universitaria de Artes TAI and a second Master in Cinematography at the Universidad de Córdoba (UCO). In addition to having constituted different juries at film festivals, such as Documenta Madrid, FILMADRID and FANCINE, she has worked in several companies in the sector such as Pentación Espectáculos, the audiovisual production company Globomedia and Casa Arab, where she regularly programs Arab cinema cycles. At the moment, as a doctoral student at the UCO, she is developing her research on Spanish experimental cinema.

Raquel Freire
Originally from Porto, she is a film director, screenwriter, writer, producer and mother. She was a producer and co-producer of several films, which premiered in several countries and sold out on DVD, in addition to screenwriting, she made other cinematographic works, documentaries, short films, videos, among others. It's worth mentioning the awards she has received, namely her distinction at the Cannes Festival by the European Film Foundation as a young European producer in 2000. She also made her debut at the Municipal Theater as a playwright and director with “NóSOUTRXS”. She has published some books and is the author of the Essay on the work of Patrícia Bandeira. Today she is a visiting professor at Portuguese and foreign universities in the areas of Cinema, Gender Studies, Art and Politics. She is currently preparing her 3rd fiction feature film “Filme Sem Câmara” and the movie “Mulheres de Abril” para 2023”.

Margarida Medeiros
PhD and Master in Communication Sciences from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA FCSH), Margarida Medeiros is currently an assistant professor in the same department and Researcher at IC-NOVA (NOVA Communication Institute). Having as areas of research Visual Culture, Photography and Cinema, she is the author of several books and articles on Photography from a cultural and philosophical perspective. She was a photography critic at Jornal Público between 1990 and 2012.
She has had an active participation in artistic and cultural events and productions. Margarida Medeiros was one of the founders of the CINENOVA.
She also works in the area of Social Sciences, with emphasis on Communication Sciences and Humanities, with a greater focus on the Arts.

Rodrigo Gomes
With a Masters in Art and Multimedia from FBAUL and a Post-Graduation in Sound Art from the same university, Rodrigo Gomes lives and works in Lisbon. He participated in numerous group and individual exhibitions, co-founded the Núcleo de Artes Visuais de Évora and co-created the T10 Gallery, as well as produced several multimedia concerts. In addition to all this, he also won several awards, namely "Visual Artist", Sonae 2017 award. His work focuses on the relationship between sculpture and architecture and he currently works in the area of Visual and Sound Installation.
