Bleeding Bleeding is a short experimental film about the body, menstruation and gender. Through recordings of menstrual blood and of representations of bodies deemed feminine, the necessary connection between menstruation and womanhood is questioned. At the same time, the contradictory cultural and political perceptions of women's bodies and of the experience of menstruation are explored and criticised. To bleed is still understood as disgusting and dirty and yet the body that bleeds is constantly sexualised and attached to an idealisation of motherhood, reduced to their reproduction capacities. This film tries to normalise menstruation while also promoting necessary debates about gender and cultural norms.

DOCUMENTÁRIO — 9min
“Dear Lisboa,” is the beginning of a letter that doesn't know if it's a love or a farewell letter. Like an open letter to the city that became my home, this film is an intimate immersion in the intricacy of my relationship with Lisbon.
Using archive footage from my phone, this visual letter unveils the highs and lows of our connection: each discarded beginning and every internal monologue, reflects not only the relationship between me and Lisbon, but a personal journey of self-exploration.
Falling in love with the city you live in is a daily exercise. As I witness the changes in an evolving city, I simultaneously discover transformations within myself.
Change is part of evolution. Routines and rhythms morph and accelerate. But it's in contemplating the small details of everyday life that I find my anchor, while I navigate a city that I sometimes have difficulty recognizing, but that I still love.

Querida Lisboa,
DOCUMENTÁRIO — 9min
